Made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), Glasbord® with Surfaseal is extremely moisture-resistant and non-porous. The Surfaseal film finish, exclusive to Glasbord® products, creates a highly impact- and scratch-resistant barrier. Thanks to its unique process, this finish does not trap dirt or bacteria, making the surface up to 10 times easier to clean and up to 6 times more stain-resistant than other sanitary wall systems.
The panels, available in both textured and smooth versions, withstand frequent maintenance cycles, offering proven performance at an affordable price, with a limited 10-year warranty.
Increasingly requested for the construction of clean rooms dedicated to cold cuts processing, the SMOOTH panel—with its non-textured smooth surface—delivers even higher hygienic performance, thanks to its class 5-8 (100-10000) certification.
To complete our unique and high-performing HQS (Hygienic Quality System), wall and ceiling joints are sealed with a specific anti-mold and anti-aging sealant. This treatment eliminates raised edges, preventing dirt accumulation points that could foster bacterial and mold growth.
The result is a flush, seamless surface finish, designed to fully meet increasingly strict hygienic and sanitary requirements. The system was developed in response to our clients’ ongoing demand for a functional, safe, and distinctive environment.
The material is also Green Guard Gold certified, as it does not emit harmful substances during processing, ensuring environmental protection, and HACCP certified, making it suitable for use in food facilities.
